Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore has been a Hollywood writer and actor for several years. Also, she is lauded by reviewers. Sagittarius Born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She's one of the three children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a parachutist. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed descent. Her father was a professional and often moved her family. It was a struggle to make and keeping friends. When her family moved to Germany Moore went to Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in performances. Her education continued at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. Thesis in Theater. After graduating, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. She made her screen debut in 1985 when she appeared on an episode of The Edge of Night. The break came in 1986 when she portrayed the role of Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes on The World Turns. In 1988 she was an actress on the show, and won a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she was the first film actress to make her debut on cinema in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that was later criticized as an awful low-budget movie. Short Cuts (1993), 3 Women (1997), and both were produced by Robert Altman. Moore received numerous nominations and was praised for the initial film. Moore played her first main part as a lead actress in Safe(1995). The actress' career took a turn as Steven Spielberg cast her to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of 1997's highest-grossing movies. The actress received an SAG award nomination for Magnolia in 1999. She co-starred with Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep as well as others in The Hours, which was nominated nine times for Academy Awards. Moore has also starred in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore is an established star in many television shows and movies. Moore's most recent appearance as a lead actress was In When You Finish saving the World (2022). In Hollywood, she has also made herself a writer for children. In 2007, she released Freckleface Strawberry, which became a New York Times bestseller. The book became a best selling book, then made into a TV series and musical. Her 2013 book, My Mom is a Foreigner also became a top-selling. Moore is an accomplished actress and writer. Her personal life, therefore, falls under the domain of public record. She married John Robin in 1984 and they divorced in 1995. Moore has two children along with Bart Freundlich whom she later got married in 2003. Moore is a woman who values her family and career.
